Average Wages in Kanagawa by Age: Pay Rises Through the 50s, Then Drops Sharply in the 60s
Using 2023 Basic Survey on Wage Structure data for Kanagawa Prefecture, this article examines scheduled monthly wages by age. Pay rises from ¥258,000 at ages 20–24 to ¥455,100 at ages 55–59 before dropping sharply to ¥348,300 at ages 60–64.
